Our little pilgrim was blessed with 3 outfits that are embroidered with “Baby’s First Thanksgiving”. Since he has a tendency to need several wardrobe changes a day, he had a chance to wear 2 out of 3 of them on Thanksgiving.
We enjoyed a delicious meal with my parents, sister and her husband and 6-month-old son.
It was tough to stick to the routine that we’d somewhat developed over the past 3 weeks. Calvin got a little too used to adults holding him all day long. By nightfall, he would cry or want to be fed every 2 hours. . . I was super exhausted. So, I’m tanking him up every 2.5 hours today in the hopes that he’ll sleep longer tonight.
Also, it seemed like he packed on a little more weight . . . he just felt heavier and his cheeks looked fuller. I weighed him and he’s now at 9 and 1/2 pounds . . . a full pound more since his weigh in at week 2.
I hope all of you had a great holiday with family, nourishing food, and of course, football!
