Weekend Update

One of these days, I’ll post the youtube video of my husband doing push-ups with Calvin clinging on to his back for dear life while laughing his head off.  It’s a great clip.  Until then, enjoy this tender father and son moment where

Calvin’s getting dressed to get ready to head out into the chilly evening for a quick walk around the block.  He was getting cabin fever right before bed time, and it’s much better to get some fresh air than to put a toddler with cabin fever to bed without having the chance to explore and stretch his 90 mile per hour legs.img_4769

Calvin loves soft, cute, and cuddly things: stuffed bears and lions, blankies, and  . . .

Calvin loves to snuggle his sweet friend Samuel who was pretty affectionate in return–you could see the happiness in his eyes, anyway.  img_4774Group hug (Samuel’s Mama, Baby Samuel, and Calvin Kai)

For Christmas, Calvin’s Aunt Heather made him a warm and fluffy superhero cape.  It allows him to evade parents after bath time and squeal with delight.

We chased him from the living room to the kitchen, to the bedroom, to the kitchen, and back again.

Whew.  Running the entire 20 foot length of our apartment (while dodging basement support poles) tired out the little man before bedtime.img_4793

  1. This last picture is a KEEPER!! SO cute. I think every toddler adores the freedom of some naked time after bath!
